Rehab & Wellness is a 9 year old company with a history of steady growth and reliability, and has become the preferred choice for Home Health Agencies in the Lubbock and surrounding areas. Rehab & Wellness provides contract physical, occupational and speech therapy services (PT, OT, SLP), primarily in the home health, assisted living, and nursing home settings and also provides wellness programs designed to enhance individuals' health through proper nutrition and lifestyle choices. Our goal for the clients we serve is to not only add years to their life, but more importantly add life to their years!
Denay Hounshell, MPT
After graduating physical therapy school in 2000, Denay began a career that encompassed virtually all settings available in the field, including orthopedics, neuro rehab, geriatrics, pediatrics, wound care, and home health. It was this last area in which she found her niche for expanding a business. Denay founded and spearheaded the growth of Rehab & Wellness, and serves as CFO of the company. She manages the day to day financial operations and is still involved in active patient care.
Troy Hounshell, PT, ScD, COMT
While Troy graduated in the same class as Denay, his work experience almost immediately led him into the orthopedic field of PT. He owned and operated an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Lubbock, TX, until 2008 when he transitioned to Rehab & Wellness as the President and CEO. Troy finished his Doctor of Science degree in PT in 2005 and is currently the only home health physical therapist in Lubbock with a post-graduate doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. He is responsible for patient care and supervision, contract reviews, business development venues, and is actively growing the Wellness division of the company.
